Originally the restaurant started off as an exclusively Malaysian Teahouse in 1978. This was then been transfixed and synergised into an all round 'Asian Teahouse' specialising in Chinese, Singaporean, malaysian, Thai and Indonesian cuisine. After 30 years of operation the business was recognised as one of the ever popular dining destination in Hobart Tasmania

However do note that this blog is really about a philosophical outlook of a working life from the viewpoint of a small self-employed person spanning nearly three decades over a restaurant history of which he is personally involved with - virtually a one man show if you ask me - in the catering and hospitality industry of Australia."
